中川町にて農家さん向け説明会【A meeting with farmers at Nakagawa-cho】

おとといまで、北海道の北側（道北）の街、中川町へ行っていました。内田研から、濱本、茂木、戸田が参加し、私たちが始めたプロジェクトの説明会を行ってきました。プロジェクトの詳細については、まだ始まったばかりで、細かい部分は決まっていないのですが、このプロジェクトには農家さんの協力が不可欠です。今回は、私たちのプロジェクトに興味のある農家さんたちが集まって下さいました。一生懸命プレゼンをする内田研の学生（茂木）に付き合ってくれた彼らに感謝です。そして、中川町役場を訪問し、町長さんや農業、林業に関わる方々にご挨拶することも出来ました。小さな街ですが、札幌の喧騒から逃れて少しの間のんびりできたのも事実です。

We have been to Nakagawa-cho, located at the Northern part of Hokkaido. Three of my students and I did a seminar, targeting local farmers. We have started a small project, needs helps from farmers. Thus, farmers we met were the ones interested in this project. I sincerely thank farmers who patiently listened to the presentation given by my students. We were also honoured to meet the mayor of Nakagawa-cho, as well as many others who work at the city council. It is definitely a small town but to be honest, we relaxed well, getting away from the big city where we live, Sapporo.
